This French Blind spot Sticker also known as Angles Morts Stickers is mandatory in France from the 1st of January 2021. From this date, all buses, coaches and motorhomes above 3.5 tonnes are required to display these stickers in urban areas. The new regulation is an official traffic rule that will be included in the French highway code under the heading R 313-32-1 . Failure to comply with this traffic rule will be punished with a class 4 fine. .

It is important the stickers are applied in the correct areas on the vehicle. Failure to place the sticker in the correct area could result in a fine.
On coaches, buses and motorhomes it is mandatory to apply the stickers on both sides and the rear of the vehicle. The sticker on the rear of the vehicle must be placed on the right hand side between 0.9 and 1.5 meters from the ground. On both sides, the stickers must be applied at the front (also at a height between 0.9 and 1.5 meters from the ground).
